Christmas Biscotti Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup cherries, dried
  • 2/3 cup pistachios, shelled, chopped

Christmas Biscotti Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and mix into sugar mixture. Stir in cherries and pistachios.
  3. Mold dough into desired shape and bake on cookie sheet for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove loaf to cooling rack for 10 minutes. Reduce oven heat to 300 degrees.
  4. Slice loaf and place slices on baking sheet. Bake on each side for 6 minutes.
